The University Hills Property Owners Association, Inc. is a Texas nonprofit corporation formed to administer and enforce the recorded covenants of the University Hills Phase 2 subdivision.
The Association operates in compliance with Texas Property Code Chapter 209 (Texas Residential Property Owners Protection Act) and the Texas Business Organizations Code.

The Association is responsible for maintaining active status with the Texas Secretary of State and Comptroller. Failure to file required reports may result in forfeiture of corporate privileges.
The University Hills Property Owners Association, Inc. is a member-governed, volunteer-run nonprofit corporation. All officers and directors are elected or appointed by the owners of Phase 2 lots or the Board, and their authority extends to the properties and obligations defined in the POA CC&Rs. They are legally obligated to:
Act in good faith and ensure that all actions, votes, and spending align with the best interests of University Hills Phase 2 POA.
Maintain confidentiality regarding owner information.
Follow open meeting and notice rules under §209.0051.
Protect the Association’s corporate and legal standing by filing required reports and maintaining insurance.
Retain legal counsel as needed for enforcement of CC&Rs, collection matters or lien filings, state compliance and nonprofit filings, policy drafting and review.
Board members are covered under the Association’s Directors & Officers (D&O) Liability insurance policy. Events at POA events, meetings, or other gatherings are covered under the Association's General Liability insurance policy.
